From hosting guest speakers and professional panels to organizing workshops, clinical skill-building events, and networking opportunities, HUPS provides the resources and community students need to excel on their path to medical school.
Service Programs help meet needs in the community through volunteer-driven initiatives that offer support and care. Through direct health service, educational outreach, translational assistance, or providing comfort to patients, these programs produce community impact and promote health equity.
Programs:
Advising Programs support and guide students throughout their premedical journey by connecting them with mentors who offer insight, encouragement, and real-world experience, demystifying the path to medicine.
Programs
Advocacy Programs allow students to explore and amplify issues concerning medicine, ethics, and society. These initiatives promote awareness around healthcare policy, ethics, and representation in the medical field through writing, discussion, and public engagement.
Programs
Interest Programs explore the world of healthcare beyond the classroom, encourage curiosity, and increase engagement through literature, research, clinical specialties, or alternative medical careers. These programs allow students to expand their understanding of medicine in the real world and connect with professionals.
Programs
Wellness Programs center around the mental and physical well-being of premedical students, creating spaces to recharge, connect, and care for others and oneself through fitness initiatives and community-based support.
