The Harvard Undergraduate Premedical Society (HUPS) offers a variety of programs designed to support aspiring medical students. From hosting guest speakers and professional panels to organizing workshops, clinical skill-building events, and networking opportunities, HUPS provides the resources and community students need to excel on their path to medical school.
The Crimson Medical Mentorship Program (CMMP) organizes weekly programming for local high school students, creating materials for engagement with science and medicine as part of a year-long 2025 cohort.
The Physician Mentorship Program (PMP) is one of HUPS’s longest-running and largest programs. Each year, PMP matches ~100 premedical undergraduates with physician mentors of various specialties at leading Boston hospitals and constantly works to expand their mentor base. Long-term mentoring relationships provide students with the advice and clinical exposure necessary for a proper assessment of medicine as a potential career option.
Peer Premedical Advising (PPA) pairs underclassmen with upperclassmen mentors to make the premed process more navigable.
